Sophie created a Christmas newsletter we can send out to our fans over the Christmas period, they will receive this once they sign up to our newsletter. It contains information about our latest album, merchandise, and competitions.
Track List
I am in charge of making the digipack so for this i had to make a tracklist, to do this i took inspiration from the bands i had already researched and their albums; Little Mix, The Saturdays and Neon Jungle. They all had a different number of songs on their first album, i decided to go with 12 as it is still a lot of songs which allows our audience to really get to know our sound and decide if they like it or not. I tried to not make the names of the songs to complex so they still appeal to our audience.

Costumes- Liv
Night Club Scene-
As Liv is the diva she was the most dressed up in this scene as divas normally care a lot about there appearance. She has slightly heavier make up than me and Sophie and wore sparkly, high heels.
UV scene-
Again Liv wore black to contrast the light wall and UV
Silhouette scene-
Outside Scene-
Liv wore white as well but her make-up was similar to the night club scene so it was slightly heavier than mine and sophies.
White wall-
For this scene Liv wore a play suit and heels, she was the only one wearing heels as it adds to her diva persona.
Costumes- Sophie
Night Club Scene-
Sophie is the girly member so this has to come across in her clothing, she wore a white lacy dress as it is very girly yet it still shows that she is in a club having a good time. She wore pink heels as pink is stereo typically a girls colour.
UV scene-
Again sophie wore black to contrast the light wall and the UV paint.
Silhouette scene-
Sophie wore lace again in this scene as it made the black less harsh for her girl persona, she also wore a skirt as it is something a girly girl would wear.
Outside Scene-
For this we all wore white so Sophie decided to wear the something similar to the lacy dress she previously wore in the night club scene but this time put a white cardigan over it to make it more casual, she also wore converse.
White Wall-
For this sophie again wore lace but this time it had a colour so it gives a slight edge to her girly side however it was still pink so the girlishness was still evident.
Costumes-Frankie
Night Club Scene-
For the nightclub scene we decided to dress as if we really where in the club on a night out. As i am the edgy member of the band i chose to wear a baggy baseball shirt/dress, with some black heels and classic make-up as we didn't want any of our make-up overly heavy as it doesn't appeal to our audience.
UV scene-
As this scene is all about our make up we decided our costumes would be relatively simple and not bright so they don't distract from the UV paint. We also wanted to wear black as it contrast from the light wall. I am wearing light washed ripped jeans so i differ from the other two and stand out as the slightly different member.
Silhouette Scenes-
For this scene we had to wear black so the silhouettes were the only thing noticeable and the no colours distracted from them. However we still wanted to appear glamorous so i wore a chunky necklace.
Outside Scene-
This is our most casually dressed scene however we wanted to wear white to contrast the darkness of outside. I wore a baggy top and some white ripped jeans.
Website
Our website is now up and running, the links to our social media accounts all work, our fans can buy tour tickets and products from our store and we even have a discount code they can use to get some money off their first purchase's.
We each have an individual page giving our fans some background information on us all, allowing them to get to know us on a more personal level.

Website- biographys
After doing research into girl bands website's we found that there were pages for each of the girls, showing their different personalities which allow's the audience to get to know the individually rather than just by a name. Various questions and pictures where shown on these pages. We decided we would do something similar so Sophie, who is designing most of the website came up with some questions and asked us to answer them:
We also thought because our audience is of an age that will use social media we should include some selfies and pictures from our own social media to help them get to know us even more.
Where did you grow up?
How did you get into singing?
who is your style inspiration?
what are your nicknames?
what is your favorite food?
What is your favorite colour?
Who are your favorite musicians?
What are your favorite movies?
what are your favorite songs?
who is your musical inspiration?
funniest little mix moment?
Favorite saying?
We also thought because our audience is of an age that will use social media we should include some selfies and pictures from our own social media to help them get to know us even more.
More editing feedback
Today I was editing and then Liv asked to watch it so Mr Amato and Mrs Brookes also watched. They gave us some feedback on what we had so far:
-Pace is key, needs more quick cuts as it such a face paced song
-The difference between the quality of the shots is visible
-The lip syncing needs to be more in time
-It needs to show more shots of us alone, showing our personalities- e.g when we are in front of the light wall pushing the guy away
-Not all the shots have to be singing, they can be just you 3 hanging out to set the scene and introduce your personalities
-When you have such good, strong footage (the nightclub scene) the rest needs to live up to that.

Stel-o-matic
Below is our stel-o-matic which shows some of the types of shots we are going to use within our music video just to give a feel for it and set up the theme.
Editing Feedback
I sat down with some peers and our teacher to watch the editing we had done so far, both during and afterwards i got the following feedback:
Ben- I really like it and it looks good so far. Some shots as better than others, the club scenes look really good.
Will- The beginning looks really good and works at introducing the band. I prefer the club scenes to any of the others but i think the outdoor scene is very creative.
Miss- So far it looks really good. The club scene looks amazing and really fits with your genre but i think it should be introduced later on in the video. The beginning should be mainly the outdoor and drama studio scenes and slowly build up towards the better scenes.

MTV interview
We filmed this interview for MTV to allow our fans to find out more about us and give them more information about the upcoming video,
Filming In The Nightclub
Last month we went and filmed the majority of our video in one of our local nightclubs, we were lucky to have access to the nightclub thanks to a close family relations owning the facility. Below if a short clip of the layout of the nightclub and us filming. It consists of Liv filming me and James infront of the light wall for a sequence in the video and Sophie teching Rebecca, who is a non-media student, how to use the came so she can help film all three of us later on. In this video your can also see how empty the club looks and that we had full control over the lighting and effects going on in the club as well as the sound.
However the club being empty was also a problem in some shots as we wanted to put across the club vibe which is difficult with an empty club, so we had to angle the camera for certain shots to make it appear as though there is more people than there was.
Digipak research- Girlbands
I did some research into girl bands similar to ours first albums. I looked at the front cover, cd cover and back cover to get an idea of the conventions that appear in some of them. Below is my research and analysis on the digipaks:
Digipack Research- general
Preview of our music video
For our halfway evaluation we decided to make a preview of the instrumental section in our music video. We will use this preview to give our fans and social media pages a taste of what is to come in the final draft.
Logo Ideas
I decided to try out some logo's for our band that will be used on the album cover, I first started trying them out on paint and then asked for some feedback.
Feedback-
Mrs Brookes- the G and S don't look as smooth as the rest, looks broken up.
Will-The S is to boxy, but the E's are good. The G is to squiggly, needs to be smaller.
Ben- Its nice but i agree with Will
Mr Amato- I like it, but the kiss should be bigger
Feedback
Will- Its too babyish, the E's aren't as good as the first one
Mrs Brookes- doesn't look professional, looks like a child's scribbled, try actually drawing with a lipstick
Ben- I like the scribbled look you are going for but could be neater
Mr Amato- I prefer the first one.
Miss suggested I try out some handwritten logos in lipstick as this was the look we are going for:
Feedback
-Myself- i thought the colours resembled a Christmas theme to much however I really liked the written style.
Mrs Brookes- she preferred this style to the ones I tried on paint, however she wanted me to continue testing out different ones. She didn't think the colour scheme was to christmassy but she thought it should be brighter.
Feedback-
Myself- I thought and knew this was the messiest one but I liked a few of the letters
Mrs Brookes- she didn't like the T of G as they were so messy but liked the brightness of the pink.
Overall this was the neatest of all the written logos however it still wasn't as i wanted it.
Miss then told me about the website Dafont.com where i could design and use any font I wanted, so it would look more professional.
I really like both of these styles as they look like they are hand written so they make them look handwritten and therefore our audience will be able to connect with us on a more personal level.
Both are very similar so I am going to ask the rest of my group which they prefer or if they have any other ideas. If they like them then we will change the colour to suit the 'pop' genre as black has darker connotations and doesn't fit with our target audience.
One of these will be used on our album cover and other promotional products like our digipack.
